The management does a fantastic job creating a family atmosphere. If you want a great family get away with your own private beach, and warm pool this place is great for a step up from a cabin. The rooms are nothing fancy but are very clean. Everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals and there are nice common areas to bbq and hang out.
The rooms could use some updating, and the hotel is a bit overpriced for what they are offering in terms of accomodation.
It was close to downtown Osoyoos
The private lake was really tiny
friendly owners, staff. Location was fantastic!! facilities great.Very reasonable price. Family accommodations excellent. Signage/directions were very clear
the bathrooms could use renovation-rather old but clean.
The setting; the comfort of the place ( clean , nicely appointed, everything we needed), and the advice about eating out. Would be great for several days but we only had one...
Very quiet and clean. On the lake was good as we went for a long swim.
I thought a packet of coffee in the room would have been nice for the morning.
OMG, we had terrible experience with this place. Our bedroom was right under the bathroom of the unit above. We could hear every single sound up there and we could not get a good sleep. Our room was listed as featuring "Private Terrace - Water Front", but this is deceiving. There is nothing private about the tiny space in front of the unit, since it is right next to a side walk and everyone passing by can look straight into your room. Also it is actually not "waterfront", because it is far from the lake and there is another unit on the right, in front of it. On the left side there is enormous wall of bushes separating the property from the neighboring site. So you see a tiny bit of the lake in a distance at the end of this "tunnel". Overall the place looks run-down. The furniture was old and a mix of different styles, as it was picket up on a garage sale or on the street. The unit was not very clean, we found a wet used coffee filter in the coffee machine. There was no dishwasher in the kitchen. We basically packed out stuff on the next morning and we left. Our host initially told me they will charge us for the entire week, even if we don't stay. I stated I am going to call my credit card company, and then he told me that since they "had a good season" he is going to charge us only for two days. I am still not happy with this, since we only stayed for one night, and I will follow up with my CC.
Close to beach; had a nice pool; quiet location.
Perfect location, nice staff. Good facilities!!! Nice big room, but not new! Sweet bbq and outside relax area
Pleasant staff. Good location.
Disappointed to find that the services we had particularly chosen this resort for and paid more money for were shut down and unavailable. If we had known this ahead of time we could have probably paid less for something else that would have been adequate for our needs. This may be a fine place to stay in July or August but not in the shoulder season.
When we got there, they gave us a room that smelled like someone had just smoked in there and they had febreezed it. The smoke smell was so intense, we couldn't stand to be inside the room for 1 minute. We had asked the staff to give us a non-smoking room, and they did, the other room smelled like smoke but not so much as the 1st one. The sofa and the kid's room did not look very clean, we had to put bed sheets on the sofa in order to sit down with more ease. We had bugs in the room including a spider. Then at night, we got asked to move to another room, because there were new guests coming: they were not giving the smoking room to them apparently. It was kind of inconvenient switching rooms like that.
We liked how private the resort was. We also liked that you got to know the other guests at the resort. We met another family that we spent time with by the pool and in the evening.
Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Serviceable kitchenette with everything we needed.
Could not get wifi in the room, had to go down to the beach (which has a nice gazebo looking out on the lake, so not all bad!). Somewhat noisy air conditioner, very old TV mounted near ceiling. No housekeeping, although access to clean towels, etc. The only thing we really missed in terms of housekeeping was shampoo in the room.
We stayed for 3 nights with our 8 year old son. The place is immaculate, extremely comfortable, the owner is very personable and makes sure everyone is well taken care of. It's a great place for kids, nice pool, beach. We will stay again.
needs updating especially air conditioners, poor parking to expensive for what they offer
Very relaxed, Quiet, Warm hosts, beautiful location
Rooms are a bit dated
